Personal Blog

To my new friends,

Here is a little of the back story.

As a stay-at-home mom of two, the idea of starting something of my own felt both exciting and completely overwhelming. Afterall, I have worked for someone else my entire career.
But there came a point when I knew I needed to try—not just for the income, but for the  hope that I could help provide for my family in a way that still let me be present for them. So I took the leap. No business degree. No mentor walking me through every step. Just me, a laptop and determination to make this work.

Learning everything on my own has been one of the hardest parts. There were days I felt completely lost. Heck, I still do at times—figuring out websites, inventory, shipping, taxes, marketing, quality checks, all while doing dishes, laundry, summer break with two kids and everything else life throws at you. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve questioned whether I was cut out for this and making the right decisions more times than I can count. And yet… every small win, every order that goes out, reminds me of why I started. This journey hasn’t been polished or perfect. It’s been real, and slow, and deeply personal.

Every piece in the boutique is chosen with care. Analyzed and maybe even over analyzed at one point. And every part of this journey is fueled by the hope I can continue to do something I love, be there for my family, not important moments with the kids and help inspire someone else to take a bold step of their own.
